OUR HISTORY

Himachal Flour Mills Pvt. Ltd. is situated in the foothills of Dhauladhar mountain range in Kangra, Himachal Pradesh. Established in the year 1972, by Mr JL Gupta and registered with ROC, Jalandhar (Pb), HFM is the first completely automated roller flour mill engaged in grinding of Wheat Flour for the past 47 years, which makes HFM the oldest roller flour mill in Himachal Pradesh. The company has its expertise in manufacturing Maida, Atta, Sooji, Dalia & Bran and has been supplying all these products throughout Himachal Pradesh.

OUR FACILITY

The company has an installed production capacity of grinding 4800 metric tons per month which is the highest grinding capacity as compared to any other mill in the state of Himachal Pradesh.

The entire plant was imported to India from Poland in 1969 and the Mill started its operations in 1971. The Mill has 10 roller bodies installed.

The company has multiple all-weather godowns which have a storage capacity of 6000 metric tons at any given time throughout the year.

Quality is ensured by giving a lot of thought to the quality of wheat purchased. We have a testing lab on the premises where every test is done to ensure that the quality of is maintained from purchasing the wheat all the way to the final product.

The company owns a fleet of 14 trucks & vehicles, which ensure easy procurement of wheat & transportation of goods to all its customers thus ensuring timely deliveries.

ABOUT THE FOUNDER

Sh. Jagmohan Lal Gupta, popularly known as “The Atta Man” who is the son of Late Lala Yoginderpal Aggarwal is the head of the Gupta family and is a leading industrialist of The Kangra District.

The first man ever to have commissioned and run a flour mill under the name and style of M/s Himachal Flour Mills (P) Ltd at Kangra in the year 1972, Mr Gupta Chairs the first and still the largest flour mill in the State having a grinding capacity of 4800 MT per month. Since over 47 years, this single flour mill has been meeting up the demands of the entire state of Himachal Pradesh and has generated sizeable revenue for the state and employment for the people of Kangra town.
